Nilema has amassed 30 years of significant global experience making her a versatile and unique leader. She has been recognised on multiple occasions for her leading role as Group General Counsel in private equity backed businesses and listed entities. She was recently listed as DEI Executive Role Model listed no. 10 with notable and prominent CEOs. Previously, Nilema held roles as Chief Operating Officer at Farillio, CEO of Alacrity, and Group General Counsel of Ascential plc (250 FTSE) for 11 years and Kantar Group (a Bain Capital portfolio business). She was a litigator for Simmons & Simmons and qualified as a Barrister. Nilema also coaches, mentors and advises leaders at different stages in their personal and growth journey.

Paving the Way
Courageous Leaders was founded to empower leaders to courageously build a better world. The event funds an education project for marginalised girls and young women to continue their education and gain work skills in Zimbabwe run in aid of global children’s charity Plan International UK. https://courageousleadersevent.com/ Nilema is passionate and dedicated to lifting children out of poverty through funding access to education and today has contributed 6 figures to the project and helped 13,400 girls and young women in rural Zimbabwe.
