Women Who Will

Through the Women Who Will: Still Rising – Class of 2026, the teams at Obelisk Support and Next 100 Years recognise 26 women nominated by their peers, in the belief that naming female talent is one of the most powerful ways to advance it

In spotlighting 25 exceptional women nominated by their peers, the teams at Obelisk Support and Next 100 Years sought to make the case that female talent in law is not a pipeline problem – talent is everywhere but recognition and promotion is not .

In identifying and spotlighting 24 inspirational women, the teams at Obelisk Support and Next 100 Years’ hope to prompt broader acknowledgment of the wealth of female talent across the entire legal sector.

Now in its 4th year, The Women Who Will report published by Obelisk Support in partnership with the Next 100 Years project, shines a light on the exceptional women in the legal industry – recognising those who have shown exemplary leadership, vision, and action in the legal community.

This year’s report was a special centenary edition to mark 100 years since the first women were admitted as barristers and solicitors in England and Wales in 1922.
