What does “paving the way” for future generations mean to you?

“Women lawyers in the past have faced and overcome enormous adversity and inequality in their legal careers. Their resilience and determination, their experiences and successes, empower and encourage us to continue to break barriers and to participate. I strongly believe that learning about their contributions helps pave the way for progress and inspires all of us to shape the future of law, enriched by our own unique perspectives.”
